Green health ~ Oriental medicine

It's not because my husband is an oriental medicine doctor, I promote herbal/alternative medicine. If you are a green-living person, it's as simple as 123 to see how western medicine hurts your body. It's chemical. I don't totally against western medicine if doctors use them by caution and drug companies don't sell them just for big profits. I don't against western medicine doctors because I know many of them have good hearts and most of them try to save people's lives.

Most of Americans don't have chances to understand Chinese medicine and don't know even just for cold or flu, it's so much better to take herbal medicine to cure it than take antibiotics. So, when you have lower back pain, you would think that your back has problem. You go to see a doctor, he/she gives you pain killers to try for a week because they don't know what wrong with your back is. If you go to see an oriental medicine doctor, he/she would tell you that your kidneys might have problem and you probably have too much stress. The oriental medicine doctors might give you herbal medicine for your kidneys instead of pain killers.

I have seen how powerful that herbal medicine helps my husband's patients maintain their high-blood pressure, lyme disease, and stroke.... If you get a chance to know oriental medicine, you will agree that no chemical residual in your body is better for your health.

Welcome to Yu Studios

After I closed out my pottery studio and gallery in Winchester, VA 3 years ago, I haven't devoted my time to promote my pottery at all. It was a great experience during that 4 years. I worked extremely hard to make pots, teach classes, deal with 10 artists, do marketing, accounting....., everything. I had learned how to be a gallery owner to sell paintings, pottery, and artsy shoes, but it's SO hard to make living by selling arts. Then I got so sick and couldn't stand it any more. I have never regreted to spend all of my saving and energy to have that business because I would regret if I had never done it.

It's so excited to start promoting my pottery again. I have been selling my pottery at juried art shows in the past 3 years. In this way, I am able to design more art form pottery instead of just daily used pots. Except my own website: http://www.yustudios.com/, I also have a shop at Etsy: http://www.yustudios.etsy.com/.

Except pottery, I would like to share some my interests with everybody, e.g. wine, organic living, and travel. I am on twitter, http://twitter.com/yustudios. Welcome to talk to me there!
